Yes.

if you don't mind me asking what year and model did you get them from? can you get the bungs from like autozone or ??

Speedway motors is the only place I know you can get the bungs from. Its a "custom racing part" and Vato Zone would never carry a thing such as this. They have the balljoints there too. Its the same one they use for Mustang II suspension kits.

SO you use this to build you arms off of. you weld right to these - without warping them at all ?

you guys are the... men!! that's exactly what i was looking for. thank you both.

i pretty much figured they wouldn't carry the sleeve, but i found they have the BJ's.

I would just order them from Speedway motors when you order the sleeves. If you just order the sleeves, you are under their minimum order amount, and they charge you an extra $10. It doesny say it anywhere but thats what happened to me.

Also the balljoints they carry are nicer than the ones you can get locally. The boots they come with are nicer (not as stiff, will seal better) and they come with a zinc plated cap, rather than a cheapo flat black coating. They're also cheaper.

I just got another set of everything to do another set of arms for a friends truck, and I am impressed with the ones Speedway sells. I think they are made by Howe, but boxed as Speedway parts (just like they do with Wilwood stuff, that they sell cheaper than the actually Wilwood stuff, lol). The ones the auto stores have are Moog. I measured the travel these got when I got them and they actually get an extra degree over the Moogs joints in each direction. I will be replacing my balljoints with these when I get my truck back. So I would get the joints from Speedway at the same time if thats the route you choose to go.

Heres the ones I just got.

I know theres something else I wanted to post, but I'm too drunk to remember what I was thinking about 2 minutes ago. Its likely lost forever, and hopefully everythign up there makes sense.

wow you are quite the drunk typer. i can't determine my fingers from my thumbs when i get drunk and try typing. but yeah, all that makes sense to me. i'm pretty stoked about that info. i'm hopefully going to get some toyota spindles, rotors, calipers and the like from that 69, so i don't know if those ball joints will work or not with the spindles, but we'll make something work.

you run this one?,,_Upper-Ball-Joints-Screw-In-and-Bolt-In.html?itemNo=91034323

Thats the one.

Spindles from that Toyota will be of a much different design than the ones everyone uses today. I had to swap mine to 84-95 spindles and rebuild my suspension because the geometry was so bad.

Gosh Darn !!! guess I will have to order me a couple sets of cups and B/J's - seeing as how I just bought my coilovers yesterday !! NOW for the bender !!!!!!
