danm it looks clean as hell and so what if it rains or gets drirty we build them to drive and show off and if it is powder coated or painted it will wash off easily anyways drive the shit out of it and enjoy. killer truck bro.

i dunno dude you might think twice about having it chromed. if your using stainless hardline you should just polish it out. the stuff they use to chrome gets inside the lines and makes the AN fittings not seal right. bad times!
i assume your using AN fittings? don't have them chromed either. you can polish the annodizing off.

i'm using ptc fittings, the hardline pushes into them just fine and weve done a test of it and it seems to work fine. i'm just gonna mark the ends and tell them not to chrome so the line still fits in the fitting

i dont understand why you cant have the best of both. \___

something like that. you have room to run a shock back and still have the strength of the gusset facing down. I dunno but thats whats i plan to do on mine. let me hear what you think

i suppose it would work just fine. it would look weird though.

the way i see it...
gussets goin down, the bag pushes up on the mounting plate and then the plate pulling on the gussets.
gussets goin up the bag would push the plate, which would push into the gussets, pushing them into the frame.

so i would want to run the gussets goin up but then again if your a competent welder then you should be fine either way.
