Not sure if this has been posted, but here goes:

I am in search of a shop or specs to have a one piece driveline made or swapped. I have an 87 Mazda B2200. Currently i have a 2 piece that is pretty ghey, any help is greatly preciated.

you dont like the 2 peice? i do, i wouldn't want a 1 peice, too much angle to worry about

well, i don't mind the 2 piece, but i when i lock her up it pulls almost all the way out or when its dropped it pushes the shaft all the way in (or it could be vise versa), i've already replaced one output shaft seal, and i dont' want to risk damaging the tranny. i was told that a one piece would help somehow with this issue.

penny for your thoughts?

wow it shouldnt fluctuate that bad, have you checked your angles at full lift and ride height? you might have an off measurement causing such dramatic play... in my yota i had a 2 peice shaft and my pinion angle was almost perfect at all ride heights, my carrier bearing was brand new and did an excellent job of making sure my driveshaft was aligned

Yea that was my initial thought but when i talked to the guy that isntalled the 4-link, he said that he checked and triple checked the pinion angle. I talked to som1 else and said the same thing you said.....also mentioned that a 1 piece would be the way to go....????

on peice will creat dramatic pinion change, there is no joint for a pivot you know what i mean? one peice are easy to maintain cuz nothing can co wrong with them, but if you have a std cab typically you have to notch the body for the shaft to clear. if i had a 1 peice i would switch to 2 just my .02. i wouldnt want a 1 peice, dont go by what they told you they did, check for youreself understand its not theirs anymore, they arent worried about it ya know?

I hear ya, and the kid that installed my setup is quite knowledgeable and i have great confidence in the work he has done (and will do in the near future), and it would just suck donkey nuts to undo some of or let alone cut the truck up some more for clearance. im gonna stick w a 2 piece.

for sure. check your carrier bearing location, a lot of people when they lower a truck they move it over to compensate for pinion angle or even move it down... on these trucks you cant do that, they have a factory offset for a reason, also ask him how he checked for the clearance, like i said these trucks axles dont sit dead even on the frame.. forf/mazda offset these because of where they set the motor and tranny in the truck
