that aint too bad, i need to go this route then, cuz i'd hate to cause damage to the tranny when i drag. F*ck it, i need this. it's gotta get done. Looks like my front glass and ranger lights are gonna have to wait for now.

Give em a call and ask what the diff between a standard and an aluminum. I looked around at several jyard and could not find one that was remotely close in size.....

Well with the 2-piece it won't damage the transmission, because the first drive line never moves. You just might go through carrier bearings a lot.

However, if you get a custom one made, it will be perfect for the truck. Because you give them the measurements from full drop, mid travel, and full compression, and they make the drive shaft the correct length for your application. So its up to you. I don't want seem like I'm trying to talk you into something because its easy for me, I won't do that. But the way I look at it, is maybe $200 now, saves you more money in carrier bearings later? Lol.

I know you're not trying to convince any1 Seth, you got your sh!t on lock-down and I know your looking out. Did you get a price on a shiny purty driveline?

No, do you want me to call them and ask what it is for a retube? That will generally come back gloss black.
