The link bars are 1"X3/16" wall DOM tubing

2-24" Threaded Bars
2-36" Threaded Bars
4-RH Threaded Link Bar Ends
4-LH Threaded Link Bar Ends
8-Poly Bushings

Okay, what size are the heims and the threads on them? If they are 3/4", and a quality heim (not an FBI heim), then I would say its safe to run them with a gusset. If its 5/8" or smaller I would not feel safe. Your ultimate failure point would be the threads.

either way, i wouldn't feel safe running bags on a one inch diameter bar!!

Like I said man...I drove on the bars for 2 months or so daily...They didn't show any signs of bending...but I switched them out as you know...

If you are doing BOV then I would think you would be kosher!
