i have testfit the wheels onto the front (without tires) and i have about 1/8" to go before i tuck. i am barely hitting the inner edge of the fender... i will be piecutting it next weekend. also i am getting the wheels center bored out a little bigger. i have a 1/4" spacer in there right now and thats why i am hitting on the fender. once the wheels are bored out a little and the wheel sits flush on the hub then i should be able to tuck and figure out how high to cut in for my tubs.i'm still thinking about z'ing the frame anyways... i just gotta figure out the dimensions of my 5.0 engine (which i have heard is the smallest ((from side to side)) of the v8's about 3-5" smaller in width than the 350 v8 . if thats true then that will give me a little clearance.

seeing as i have 22x8 wheels my 255/30/22 tires arent going to work (after they mounted 3 tires and spent 8 hours on the 4th wheel....lol) i will have my 245/30/22 tires hopefully mounted and balanced by saturday so i can mount them and get some new pics over the weekend.

was it hard to put your 22 on your truck or did you have to alot of mods and cutting i know that ill prob have to tub tha firewall but is there more to it than just that or what

the 255/30/22 tires are 10"wide my wheels are 8" wide. they got 3 255's mounted to my wheeels but the fourth one took them about 12 hours over 3 days and they still couldn't do it.
the 255 is the width of the tire... in mm so if 25.4 mm = 1" 255mm = 10"

I am goin through all this right now with 20's, there are so many obstacles!!
I wanna be able to drive it slammed so I have a lot of issues. But I will accomplish it wit some radical body mods done to it.

actually with the wheels i have gotten and the tires i will have tomorrow... i wont have to z my front frame nor will i have to redo the rear frame.. at most i will have to swap rear ends and tub the front from what i see so far... i will post pics this weekend with my wheels mounted and the truck laid out as i have the susp. so far...bagged front and 3" blocks mono leafed in the rear and see what happens.
