I just checked out the whole post....i'm going with a higher offset so i will be able to tuck... he is using wheels with a +13 offset... which makes it ALOT harder to tuck... i'll figure out which wheels i am getting by this weekend. i should have them by either next friday or the week after. between now and then i'm gonna start stripping the engine/tranny/complete harness out of the truck and get it ready for surgery.......lol

ok... well i picke up a set of wheels from a guy on craigslist.... he brought one over tonight and i bolted it up and it worked out great..... i'm paying 500.00 for them and picking them up tomorrow... i can get his brand new set of 265/35/22 cooper tires for 500.00 as well. but i am not getting the tires due to the fact they are about 1 3/8 inches too tall for what im wanting so i will be picking up my 255/30/22 tires in a few weeks.
they are 1/4" away from clearing and tucking the front fender.... but i need to either grind the factory hub notches down more or have the rims center bored out to seat perfectly and then they will clear.
the rear sticks out about 2.25 inches and the rear of the rim is 4" from the frame rail ( i will get a better measurement once i have the truck up off the jack and totally on jackstands.
the measurements i have so far are
9" wide wheel
4" from rear of wheel to frame
11.25" from frame to inner edge of fender
now remember this is with the driver side on the ground and the passenger side up on one jacktand and the rear held up by a floor jack. so the measurements are off a little
i'm thinking it will tuck with the center bored out to fit the mazda factory hub... the wheels were on a chevy avalanche for less than 30 miles. the guy didnt like the first set of tires or the 2nd set... so he bought new rims (after ordering the 1st set from cali) and bought vogue tires for his new rims.
so for 500.00 im off to a better start than i thought.
