As well, you should also reinforce this section of the frame with some 1/8" or more steel plate! Put some plug welds on it and bead the whole thing! Then, put yer bag brackets in and yer good to go!

yea i reweldedall the braces that was a pic of before i did it. i had a friend teach me how to weld then i fixed it. ill put pics up as soon as i can.

not tryin to be mean bro but you should definetely learn how to weld and get plenty of practice before you start welding on suspension components. not just for your own safety, but for everyone else on the road. again not tryin to be mean or cut at your welds in any way shape or form.

this is how i reinforced it this time. the last welds sucked ass then i had them re done and then thy broke since then im in the process of takeing a corse on welding at the local teck school.

these welds penitrated and i put dowm multible welds on each peice since im running a 110 amp mig. one of my concerns is the hole on the left hand side. the welds are still a little bit sloppy!!!

hell yeh man those welds look much much better. what kind of welding class are you taking? what all forms of welding will you be learning?

im in the basic right now but im learning stick mig and tig.

tig is my favorite. you'll most likely hate it at first because for most its very hard to learn. took me forever to learn how to do it, and after hours of practice my welds are still not the prettiest. strong but not a roll of dimes.
