when i started on my backhalf i called max fish at biokustomz and asked him to help me figure out how high the bottom of my new frame rails should be in relation to the bottom of my stock frame.
he said find out the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo (my case they are 245/30/22 which are 27.6" tall (28" rounded up)
add 3" for the rearend diameter
28" + 3" = 31"
divide that by 2 so i got 15.5" (rounded up to 16" to be safe)
and figured it out from there.
basically just find the overall diameter of the wheel/tire you are using for the rear
add 3" for the diameter of the rearend. then divide that amount by 2
that is where the bottom of your notch needs to be in relation to to bottom of your frame for you to lay frame with 20's in the rear.

thats a excellent idea!!! wasn't to thrilled about buying new wheels/tires right now. i got a set of 18's i wanted to sell first for some money for a new set of wheels/tires.

well i bought a pretty nice protracter for setting up pinion/driveline.
also ordered that book by Herb Adams, Chassis Engineering.
and got a good handle on what ic means.... slowly moving foward.
