To get 2" out of mine IIRC I turned the drivers side bar 8 turns CC, and the passengerside 9 turns. When I measured with tape measure, 1 turn lowered the front 1/8"
what do i need to do to make it match up with the back? i am doing 3 inch blocks and taking out the leafs besides the main and helper... can i just turn the torsions like 12 times?
well after i lowered mine i discovered mine was sittin on stops in front so i removed it (its bolted on)with 1 nut remove it lift truck to get bump stop out and i just took the whole bump stop in rear out ..!!
how low will i be sitting with 3 inch blocks and mono leaf with helper in back? and torsioned down in front? how would it be for a daily? i gotta drive the truck everyday, not to worried about bumpy ride, but what about scraping thigs? what hangs low that gets dragged? will the stock shocks work?
don't know if someones told you yet your not but its a wise idea to have the front jacked up with the wheels completely off the ground... put the jack on the front cross-member and jack it up up up....
you may have to cut your u-bolts if they do hang low ...
might have to re-index torsions so there up instead og down and can drag
be sure to do the bumpstops ...
i heard nissan shocks work up front and not to sure bout rear but iam just gunna go buy new ones.. to be safe since they are 20 yrs old ya kno
yea very good idea .. if you lay down with it on ground you will have a truck on you so jack it up and then crank it as many times disired and drop it down if u wanna go lower repeat steps .. lol
what shocks should i get? and will the stock ones work for a lil while? i got the rear pulled, taking the leafs out tomorrow, putting rear together, then gonna start on front... my blocks are not angled.. is that bad?
