ive seen a few people in the lowest static drop said removed torsions. You can take them out completly? i dont drive mine much at all cuz i work 3 miles away so im not worried about the ride quality, i just want mine slammed. mine are already cranked but they were done by my cousin when he owned the truck. if i do it will my only concern be tire rub cuz my bumpstops were already removed too?

btw the current suspension in it is cranked all the way and 5" block on 205/50/15 pathfinders

yes you can remove them completely... then lower control arm will then rest on the bump stops.... theres two bolts on the lower control arms and then the bolt at the end of the torsion which is right in the middle of the door but under the truck...

how bumpy is it riding with no torsion bars????

tortion bars are there for a reason. i think you need to go back and re-read that thread and listen to some better people. taking out tortion bars is a no-no. and you need to take some of that block out.

we took out the torsions on my beat to crap 88 a few years back in auto shop cuz we were bored. that and flipped leaves... you can bunny hop it in 2nd! look ma! i gots fake hydros!

if your front bump stops are already removed, then you should just re-index the torsion bars and that will bring your ride quality up and let it ride low as hell, you also need to have short body shocks, or they will hold it up. This 5" block in the rear? do you still have a full leaf pack? If so I recommend going back to a 3" and taking out the middle two leaves. This will let it down the same 5" and bring up the spring rate if you leave the helper on the bottom of the main leaf.

before I started bagging mine, my truck was dropped 6/5 plus a little more from the 205/50-15's on the pathy's and rode very well and safely at that
