if you can help it just wait it out. save up the doe and do it right the first time. if you build it to lay on 15s, later on down the road you will find that you want to lay on 17s or maybe even 20s and you will have to cut out and rebuild. i guess what im sayin is to plan ahead and either wait it out and brain storm some ideas for a while or expect to redo everything once you decided to go bigger and lower (which will happen no matter how big a rim or low you go the first time around).

the problem with running a 3 link is that your pan hard bar must be set at ride hieght to have the rear end perfectly centered and when you lower it your rear end will shift to the left or right so you haver to watch as you are already limited on movement as your tires may end up rubbing layed out and then if you are not back at that perfect spot you may find you are driving down the road alittle angled.

or you could do a watts link wich would keep your axle centered thru all motion of frame up or down.

ok so i got my bed off gonna start doing the notch tomorrow now if i was to run a 4 link what are my options with the gas tank? is it possible to leave it in the same location?? can i fab up custom upper link bars that curve around the tank?

yes you can you could do a wishbone upper link. looks like a v but two points on the axle and one on either side of the rig. and you would need to raise the gas tank a little err at least the safe thing is to do it. at least half an inch to an inch

for example here are some ideas.

flip this around so its on the left side of the truck and it should work just make sure of the clearance where it would meet the drivaxle

You could also do what seth did he owns twisted minis and this was done awhile and is totally killer.
