Raise the front of the truck so that the load is off the front wheels.......and secure with jack stands.....then go under neath the cab and look for the torsion bar adjusting fork and you will see a 17 mm bolt head......take that bolt all the way out.......now follow the torsion bar to the torsion plate on the lower control arm and use a paint marker to put a line on the torsion plate and the torsion bar to indicate where it was.....now pull the torsion bar out and turn the adjusting fork so that it goes up towards the cross member keeping track of how many notches you turn the torsion bar then reinsert the torsion bar to the torsion plate and put the bolt back in to the adjusting fork so that there is pressure on it and repeat on the oppisite side......when the other side is done measure the distance from the lowes point of the adjusting fork to the cross member and make equal on both side so that you have an equal amount of pressure on each side.....or you can do what i did and just take the damn things out without marking them and move the fork as close as you can to the cross member which is about half inch away and reinstall bolts till there was pressure and about 3/4 of an inch of thread on the bolt that you could see between the bolt head and the cross member.....LOL
