Here man, look at the pics in this thread...and you may want to read the thread too lol. The only difference is that the thread author put the overload on top of the main, but most of us put it under the main...the discussion in the thread goes there.

You'll see the big thick overload spring we're talking about.

ya i saw that yesterday, i now know what the overload is lol, guess i had a moment lol. so whats the difference with putting the overload on top of the main vs. on the bottom?

Some say do it, others say don't. Take your chances lol. The author of that thread says he rode 6 yrs like that. You'll get the thickness of the overload spring in more drop if its on the top...and maybe the leaf spring gives a little more/or less, I don't know. Mine is on the bottom and has been for a long time. I also run air shocks to keep the axle from hitting the frame.

well i guess ill run the main with the overload on top and see how it plays out, top or bottom its still better then no overload at all right? i definitely want it the lowest i can get it.

Yes you pretty much must run the overload.

ok thanks for all the help bud

Put the over load on bottom!

Put the over load on bottom!....on top its just like running only the main on top it does nothing to help the main

Like todd said, put the overload on the bottom of the main leaf. If that still isnt low enough for you then install a notch and maybe a 4" block. But the overload should be on the bottom no matter what. Trying to get your truck 1" lower isn't worth you crashing and hurting yourself or others.

ok fair enough ill listen to reason lol. overload on the bottom and ill go from there.
