A grinder?? Thats not good at all.

Best advice I can give anyone is to work the filler BEFORE it gets hard. 40 grit right after cheese-grating and 80 right after 40. Do not apply pressure to the block you are using, let the sandpaper do the work and you wont get the deep scratches. It should be hard by the time you get to the 80 but youve knocked down all the extra bullshit on top with the 40. Less work.

whats candian tire kitty hair?

Definately don't sand your primer with anything higher than 800 grit wet. Base coat needs something to grip on to and 1000 just won't do it unless you never plan on painting it then finish it with whatever grit you want.

The link didn't work but I saw the pic of the fender and the best thing for that is go to the junkyard and get another one. It looks like it's crushed on the upper body line so that's not going to be an easy fix.

That fender is shit. Find another.

is a little ... is there any way to put that line back in? the one that is about 6 inches from the top...?i ran out of bondo and i am getting more tomaro and going to be working any tips on how to get that groove would be helpful...how much u think a fender from a junk yard is?

Unless you are an experienced bodyman you will never make that line perfect. Besides, the filler would be WAY to thick. I dont know how much JY fenders are but I get brand new fenders for $30. I have my own body shop though so I get them wholesale.

how hard is it to do 4x4 fenders?

Steps in doing 4x4 fenders:

Go to the JY and buy some 4x4 fenders. They dont make new 4wd parts.

Unbolt your old 2wd fenders.

Bolt on the 4wd fenders.

Youre done.
