are you sure its a B2200 or just a 2600 with 2200 fenders or fender badges rember the fenders will swap out whats to say that thay has a B2600 with reg fenders on it ( i have seen them) and thay got messed up so thay went to the yard and got more but thay pulled them from a B2200 and just said forget the fender badges and left the B2200 badges on and boom what do you have a B2600 that says B2200 just like those guys thay say thay have a 86 B2200 when in fact thay did not start making them till 88

all im saying is that i might be right i might be wrong but in the last 2 years that i have been reading looking up and hanging out on boards all about Mazdas i have never seen or heard of a STOCK B2200 4x4

Whatever u do just don't use bondo brand bodyfiller or it will end up cracking no matter what. And the grinder idea is no good either!!!!!!Like said before unless ur good with a body hammer just get a new fender don't pile a 1/2" of bodyfiller on it to fix it It'll just crack and come off sooner or later....

Pont, I am 100% sure of the fact that they made 4x4 B2200's. I'll see if I can find you a picture. I know the guy who owns the one close to my house, its all factory. If they didnt start making b2200's until 1988 then why is the truck I just picked up, 100% original by the way, a 1987 B2200? The sticker on the inside of the cab that has the VIN number and such on it says it was assembled 12/86. So December 1986 which would make it an 87. B2200 factory original.

I had a 86 B2000 LX About 6 months ago. ( kinda rare but it was rusted pretty good)I bought for $50 bucks excellent parts truck and that was my intention. It only had 125K mi.. It had not run in a couple of years, Towed it home and got to messing with. Another $ 50 and a total of 6 hours messing with it I Decided to set it out by the road. within 24 hours it sold for $350 and it smoked like A son of a gun. Thought Id tell that one as I've not told it yet. I wish I could do it over, Because it had alot of parts I'd like to have at my disposal.
