thanks man this was also the first time i have body dropped anything so it turned out alot better than i figured it would i know most first attemps turn out looking like a hack job. m also wondering how everyone is doing their front wall are they sectioning them so they will bolt back up at the bottom or just bolting them to the sides and leaving the height of the wall alone

I have just bolted it back up and trimmed the bottom down and on my last one I made a whole new piece so it was flat and smoothed.

so you just bolted back to the sides and cut the bottom off and left it at that

well something must have come up with my boy cause i couldnt ever get ahold of him so i guess it will be sometime this week or weekend before the bed is welded up i think im gonna check on the eastwood rust encapsulator i have already talked to them and they said that after i apply it i can shoot it with a high buil primer then prep and paint like normal

you can do the same thing with the por 15 bro

depends on which one i can get cheaper here i read the review that was in the link idayiwill posted and it sounds like the eastwood is a better product ive never had to do anything like that this is the first time i have used anything that was so rusted

well I have never used the other product but I have used the por 15 and after sandblasting one frame and using por 15 and a clearcoat it is still as clean as it was done 5 years ago and this guy drives the hell out of his truck and this is a jeep that is always out in the mud and crap like that.

how long will the por 15 hold up without primer over it cause im not sure how long it will be before i am able to prime it and should i do the little bit of body work it need before or after the por15
