gas tank in the bed???

cl i like that tank alot.

i did that to my first mazda back when i was in high school. but i placed mine in the rear towards the tailgate.

hey dude i got a alum cell in my bed right behind the cab mine works fine .......... so im saying try it and see mine works fine i dont see why yours would be any different

ya im also running an aluminum tank half way in the bed.. all i have is a electric carter pump ( stock replacment) and i have no problems at all..

as for that s10 guy.. isnt there a forum for him somewhere.. and the only issue i have with s10s.. is that when you go to a show.. and there are 4 mazdas 6 rangers 13 fullsize chevys, and 45 s10s.. after lookin at the first 3 s10s they all start to look stock.. are you really a custom mini truck when you are parkin beside 44 other guys with the same mods.. sounds to me like a used car lot...

sad but sooooooooooooooooo true i just got back from a car show in maggie vally 3 mazda trucks and 40 or more s10s ............

i did the stock tank in the back of the truck also and it was near the cab.... it work fine but it stuck up a lil far for my liking so i chopped out the bed floor under it and dropped it 2 inches....the 2" drop of the tank was as far as i could take it witht the 4 link setup(clears by 1/2 inch).... it looked good for a stock tank with all of the wires and hoses and crap hanging all over it.... great for a temp job.....

Since you're such an expert at whats at shows, how many of the well built trucks have stock gas tanks IN the bed??

I wasnt tryin to be an asshole to this guy, i was statin my opinion bout the matter, that he wouldnt have to worry bout it workin if he jus got a cell.... some of you guys jump to conclusions waaaayyyy too fast

flgatorsrule The statement "gas tank in bed = GHEY" comes off a bit like your being another SSM prick. Not all gas tanks in the bed look bad or are "Ghey" Opinions are fine just be careful how you stat them. We cant turn this forum to another SSM.

has no one noticed the work on the s10? i may not agree with his OPINION, but i like his truck. yes it has caddies, but check out the work on the bed.. tilt bed, plus has the old school caddie fins!! SICK!!!!!! and how many s10s have you seen with a sonoma grille mated with an s10 grille? i like it, although it does have a few noticable gaps.. but still, pretty decent truck. no telling how hard it was to do that. pretty sick dime if you ask me.. but what do i know? i drive a 'yota..
