on that tailgate thing, my 87 b2000 had a stamped gate stock, but, there were 87 b2200's on the lot that had the flat one

Our 90 B2600i does not have a molded tailgate, its smooth.

87 was the last year, although not ALL of them had it. I haven't found an 88-up yet with it, or an 86 without it. I used to have a late-year 87 that I had to buy a used 86 tailgate to cut up for when I welded up the rear smooth; with a stamped "MAZDA" in the middle.

Thanks to everyone for your help with this question! We have found out that our truck, came from the factory with a flat hood, but we have secured a donated bubble hood from a friend and it will soon have the coveted bubble.

From I thought the b2600i fuel injected ran the bubble hood whether it was 2wd or 4wd. Maybe some of the first production b2600i models didn't have them but figured there was a need for it later on.

As far as the stamped gate, it was offered on the 86-87 b2000 models, that's why its sop hard to find.
