Cd Player Installation Help

Well, I got everything wired up but now I'm having another problem.

I wired up my power and acc wires to wires that are hot at all times and one thats hot when turned too acc. My problem now is that my wire thats hot at all times isn't holding the memory on my cd player.

I had a friend tell me that it'd be safe to run that wire directly to my amp power wire connection at the fuse. Does anyone think this well work?? If not, any other ideas??

sounds like you have them backwards. yellow should be hooked up hot all of the time and red on the acc. are you talking about running the yellow wire from the radio to the continuous power on the amp. if so than i don't see any problem in this but i would look at the wires under the dash again.
