my truck has the cluster with no tach but my other mazda does, i want to swap them out, will the gauges still be accurate?

yup you just have to relocate your speedo cable one hole over from where it is now..its a simple plug and play

to my knowledge they will. just be super super super carefull with the speedo cable. everyone breaks them for some reason. some people break like 4 of them lol. again be carefull and patient

Yup they will work fine. This link goes through the swap and tells how to get the clock working also.

you wont need to do the wireing unless you want the clock to work

I want to find a tach cluster too. This was good info, thanks!

The tach cluster swap is easy for the most part.

Some non tach clusters have a ring on the back of the cluster where the speedo cable plugs in and clips into it. The tach cluster I put in my truck did not have that ring to clip into,so I had to fiddle around and slide the cable into the hole and make sure it didn't come out.

You also need to move the speedo cable over to the left by rerouting it through the metal piece that it comes through that looks like a triangle. There's a black flap of rubber to the left and another hole on the side. Route it through that, but don't pull too hard.

Might also help to unclip the cable on the fender well in the engine bay to give you a little more slack.

It would appear that the link is no longer valid. I know it was good a couple weeks ago when I first joined these forums...I got my cluster and pulled up the link this weekend to make sure I got the right wires for the clock..... and the link goes to the home page of the site now....perhaps someone one day was like...."Uhhh, this is a Safari\Astro forum...why is there a write up for Mazda B series clusters??" and they removed it....shame one of us didnt save the write up and pics...would be a GREAT thread in the tech section.

On a side note....I replaced the cluster in my truck with one with a tach and clock and did NOT have to add any additional wires for the clock....I have a 93 B2200, looks like they updated the harness at some point.
