popper location?

hey everyone, im getting ready to install door poppers and an audio system into my xcab, does anyone know the best location for the popper itself in the door? i've been checking out different variations but im worried about clearance and angle... let me know if anyone has input and i WILL be taking pictures this time haha

Hmm, this is a good thread for me to watch, because there is a set of shaved b doors in the junkyard, and I think I may pic them up if it wouldn't be to hard to get them working.

popper - bottom rear corner of the door jam
solenoid - i put mine at the bottom rear corner aswell, but had to space it out so it didn't hit the window

my solenoid is in the same spot as speedster's havent had a chance to install poppers yet

you mean where the door light and buzzer switch is?

im assuming your talking about where the buzzer light switch is, i have an fbi kit is it ok to mount the solenoid vertically? anybody know? im glad im not the only person needing the info but even more happy that someone knows where to mount it ha

P.S. Have i told anyone how much i hate wiring (especially when someone with less knowledge than me has already hacked with stuff)

my silonoid is mounted a few inches in front of the the latch. it was a tight fit but i got it in there and it pulls on the existing hole where the rod from the interior latch pulls.

and that cleared the window ?
