ok it sounds like a booster issue ur having do you hear any vacuum leaks when you hit the pedal when the truck is running or its a pedal drop only. whats the condition of the booster and all the hydrolics of the braking system. how old is the booster.

No vacuum leaks, and its just the pedal. When I hit the pedal all the way it bogs the engine down, Everything brake related is new except the booster. The booster is still the original one that came with the truck. So yeah it's 27 years old.

yeah im pretty sure the seals are going to have some dry rot on that booster. and it sounds like a booster issue. it wouldnt be a hydrolic problem when the truck is doing this. its been a while since i have work on the braking systems but i was ase certified 3 yrs ago.

Finally got the brakes going a little bit. Still need to massage out some other things. But I actually got to drive it up to the shop. Need to get the down pipe made before I can actually "drive it". Just has no back pressure, so it has almost no power.

New phone takes some pretty decent pictures, I was suprised.

That looks awesome man. The 20s look perfect on there and it looks so tiny parked next to that superduty. Whats the plans for paint? Just going to spraybomb it for now?

I will never spray bomb this thing, after using a DA for 3 hours to get it all off . On a serious note. The rear end needs to be narrowed, I can't roll low with it on or I would burn through a bed side. I may just scuff some of the body parts and let it rust. Ironically my buddy has the same exact color blue that I had on it before, but it's pretty much a single stage. So if we roll with that, I want the body work pretty damn close.

How bad is the rubbing? Can you do a mild flare on the bedside? I'm not sure how itd look on ours with the body lines, but if its mild it may not be very noticable

It would be some what mild, but noticeable and enough to annoy me. I seen 1 pre 84 with the bed side flared and I wasn't feeling it. I will just save my pennies and get it shortened soon.

Time for a update, good and bad.

Good is the exhaust is all done, sounds pretty good, nice and very low tone how I wanted. Bad news is while driving it, it died. Literally died, finally got it running think it jumped time. Wouldn't idle worth a shit. So we got it home, it lost spark. Finally got it going now it runs, misses a little but will not idle at all.
