My Project! (New Picutres 5/13)

aight here are some new pictures! it was at night so they are a bit dark...frame is almost clean, got a little more work to do. took the exhaust and gas tank off, cut off alot of the brackets for that stuff to ( the upper shock mounts are a pain in the a** to get off) and the rusty old crossmember will be cut out, but the notch and box steel should be done soon, then on the the front suspension!

okay more pictures! so i got my all my emergency brake crap pulled out which took a long while, got my leafs cut out then i cut the back of the frame to fit the 2x3 box steel which i didnt get a chance to weld in tonight. i also got the drivers side floor stripped then repainted so i get the finish the floor next weekend and hopefully in the next day or 2 i'll get the frame boxed in the back and that old rusty crossmember cut out and maybe get the notch in. tell me what ya think! thanks

thats what I gotta do soon too, get the box off and assess the rust damage situation. good progress so far.

Do I hear a Sandblaster coming followed by some chassis black??

I got lucky wiht my ride, and didn't have to much rust on it!

YEA you will want to do that sooner than later...i got my bed off and was lookin at big holes in the frame right infront of the front shackle mounts..i nevver wanted a back half..it came as a necessity..all i wanted was fourlink and a mustang rear...BOO RUST... one of the many reasons i miss NC ..yours looks nice...keep at it man

hahah nice! yeah, soon i will have the rear all 4 linked i hope, then will come the paint, i am doing a flat black on the frame with a flat gunmetal on the suspension (control arms, 4 link bars, ect,) than i am painted the whole truck a flat daytona blue pearl...its all the hardrod flats paint which i really like, if you like flat paint check that stuff out! but after i finish up the suspension its on the the motor than paint! stay tuned it will get interesting! later
