well i bought an 88 b2200 in in june and finally started working on it after being consumed with school then moving out and being broke but now i finally got time. so i started by tearing it apart and starting to redo the interior, get the air ride in, bought 17" escalades with 205-40-17 tires, rebuilding the 2.2L is the next project and welding in the 4 link soon. i have a few pictures of some stuff and will have more tomorrow night of the truck! enjoy!

escalade wheels and tires just need to get them mounted and balanced.

nice progress man. how bad is that rust? are you going to back half or is it mostly surface rust?

lol mine looks just like that sitting in my garage at the moment. Do something about that rust before it gets worse. Easier to clean up and fix now that later on when it gets deeper.

Good luck with your project. Keep us updated.

you could run a nice backhalf... that'd be sweet and probably easier then workin with all that rust, assuming its deep rust...

keep the update going!!

alright... status on the frame, i cleaned the frame up a bit and the rust is very light it just looks bad from the pictures. but as of now the exhaust and gas tank are gone frame is stripped, and by the weekend i'll have my frame boxed in the back and a new crossmember for the 4 link and i might even weld in the notch. but tonight i pulled out the dash and cleaned up the floor a bit more. i'll have updated pictures up tomorrow!
