so long as theres still lube in the joint yer aight, it can boil the lube out when you use a torch I guess he was carefull

are you gonna need to pie cut the uppers?

yea ima have to since im not gonna buy drop spindles. btw i got the spindles bolted back up. it was a pain in the ass cuase i tried to hammer out the ball joints a few weeks ago and i mushroomed them a lil and i had to use my dremel to cut the threads back out.

i should b able to cut up the upper control arms this weekend. i dont have a single saturday free for the next month or so b/c of out of town track meets.

update>.......i got the upper control arms cut and bent now i just have to buy some metal and weld them back together.

i measured from the botom of the frame to the ground (11.5 in. ) and from the center of the hub to the ground (24in.) which gives me 12.5in. of drop and since an 18" wheel is about 24 in in diameter i need the hub to be at least 12in. from the bottom of the frame.

does that make any sense? i hope it works out

i have another question about where to put my bag brackets. does my lower control arm look like its close enough to lay out on an 18" wheel? cause thats almost as high as it will go without the bag rubbin on the frame

You could always notch your frame and re-plate it if it wants to hit...I dont think it is to bad to do and then you wouldnt rub a bit, work looks good by the way
