my 83 dash project

haha, no boxers. it is to damn cold. haha. right now i am waiting for another layer of filler to dry and then sand again.

man, i cant wait to see the finished dash. so you doing all black dash and satin black body with red stripping??? should look pimp.

yeah, the dash is going to be a real glossy black with the chrome strip that goes across the front. and the body is going to be a flat black with some kind of red pinstripe. i want the interior looking new and glossy, and the outside dull and flat but with real nice art work with pinstriping.

here she is, i still have to wet sand and buff but it is bad ass! i will take some more pics when i get it all installed.

sweet, pictures are kind of crappy, so its hard to tell how smooth it is, but definately better than stock. nice job.

yeah, i tried to put it on a white background but they are still hard to tell. it is very glossy but has some trash in it, so we are going to wet sand with 1200 grit and buff it.

yeah, i think its just the lighting that makes it hard to tell how it looks. but anyhow, trash is to be expected, just dont burn through the clear when buffing it.
