No offense, But that Interior is Disgusting... As for the Metal piece, i believe its something that goes under the Jack in the back little department, And i have no idea why you would have Silcone on the Dash? The person who owned before you, did a Horrible Job at Customizing this truck, Well If you wanna call it that, Lol...I'd say leave it torn all out, and try and find a good parts truck, with complete interior, and Swap it completely out, and give it that Clean Stock interior look, Thats my opinion though, Other then that...you might be able to mange with that dash, just get rid of the Blue on everything....Ew

yea the blue is aweful and the interior is nasty as hell lol, not going to buy a parts truck as for the plastics all are good and just going to remove the paint on em, if they wont remove all the way i will sand/smooth and then repaint them a different color. im putting black carpet in it and gotta firgure out something for the seats., whoever siliconed it did a great job it was a very thin layer all over it. the dash is in mint condition. soo... i dunno gotta figure out how to get it off, might sand/smooth that also..... but all in all i agree 100% with you lol

wow bro, somebody grab a shop vac,

But really ya got sumtin decent to work with there, I went with a custom dash, its a lot of work but I would not do it any other way,

thread post photo

It was half this bad when I started, imagine black vinyl silk and rayon and velvet glued to everything and blue spraypaint all over the windows ugleee

And after some hard work,

I can take a pic for you of that metal thing if you wont to show how it goes. And I have lots of the interior panels for a Ex cab I can get a list of what I got if you wont.

I really like the custom dash idea, but im more of a factory interior kinda guy, i like it on other peoples cars but not my own, thanks for the input and your truck looks great by the way

i do need one panel for sure the passenger side panel that goes where the seatbelt is, its cracked ill take a pic so you know what it is.. thanks everyone, and today i am gonna go out to my dads house and pick up his shop vac.

so i figured out why there was a bunch of silicone on the dash, whomever owned this truck was ghetto, they silicones blue carpet to the dash....in pieces, they left 2 pieces under the dashmat, way fuc*in ugly. anyway dook the dashcover off and it looks great under there no cracks or anything, also found out i have cruise control, dont know if it works though. so i vaccuumed out the truck today, and it was kinda funny the only piece of glass together was where they had a sticker for "nitro drop" shocks, anyway the interior is all cleaned up, and its way to huumid today to start tearing more interior out..
