Well its 2am and were still going strong
rear is as done as we can get until we do the front, so we can measure out where to place the crossmember for the upper bag mounts for the rear, heres a few pics, and I know the notch isnt finished it will be done before were done lol, dont worry!!

No, Cut the middle sectioned 2.5" and put an inner sleeve and re welded, had a shop do it here locally for me, and the tabs there werent the actual tabs, took them off to redo them, and no they dont hang off the back

sleeved them.....I would still plate over that with a piece of metal man, you would be amazed on how those bars would look in 2 years. A buddy did the same thing to mine and we rolled 2 beads over all the bars and looking at them now the welds are almost flush with the bar, thats how much its pulled apart. But its lookin good bro, attention to detail. Oh and use some decent primer/paint on that bare metal lol dont just spray bomb it and call it a day, cause I no you lvoe to rattle can shit.

Is that crossmember on top of the bed mount? How are you gonna bolt the bed down haha?

Well Elbine, If you paid attention to anything about my trucl lol, My bed is body dropped 5 3/4" I am welding my bed mount spacers to that crossmember

Also Yea I have a gun and 2 quarts of primer/sealer and I will be spraying all the metal with it, Then shooting some gloss black on it, I am not going to spray the whole frame cuz well I dont need to lol!!

i forgot about the bed mount spacers dont forget to cut them down with the new crossmember in there
