lol dont you have a welder, quit being a puss and just replate the frame. I hate to even see the word trailor balls in threads because I always picture there snapping right at the mounting point. I mean people drag them all day long no problem but its just one of those things.

Yea I have a welder, But still not down to drag my frame even if it is plated, Just heating and cooling heating and cooling doesnt sit well with me when it concerns my frame, Thanks though I will stick with drag blocks or blocks of steel, thanks..

Constantly heating and cooling on a mild steel frame realistically does nothing. Mild steel has the right characteristics for this. It takes a lot of friction to make it hot, and it doesn't work harden as easily as other materials. Its perfectly safe. But if your frame was cast iron, or tungsten, that would be a different story. When those get hot and cool too rapidly they become brittle.
