the automatic sending units are different then the manual trans sending units, ya can buy BRAND new sending units for the Manual ones.

Ya well I have done 2 swaps and both have worked out perfectly and one was fuel injected and the other was carbed but both have been standards.

I dunno if its too late already or not, but you should do a FULL walkthrough with someones truck on bagging! That way people like me can gain alot of knowledge over the whole thing so I don't screw my truck up real bad! LOL!

I realize it will be alot of typing, but I'm so desperate to try and wrap my head around it all!

ya i can do one on crazymikeys or on my sons, I will be finishing madmazda's by mid month so he can take it home before the snow and then on to a virgin truck like my sons. I will get some help on the writing end but I will post tons of pics and I am only a call away or pm me with your number and we can talk.

I Cut the driveshaft piece cut today...Is this enough??

oh yea, and i got the 4 bolts as well from the rearend... 12point bolt, its going to be fun using a 12mm wrench to putt'em on, lol.

ya thats perfect looks like the u-joint needs to be replaced though looks like one rusted joint but will see when the heat goes through it and it gets all finished u-joints are cheap anyways. I geuss the sandman will have to come out and play with the blaster and make it look new.

Yea, the U-joint is Rusty, but its nice and tight with no play, anyway, so im not gunna send a new one down with it, i'll probably replace it down the road, but u-joints go, it happens... When i get back i'll go threw the nitty-gritty, and replace all the little things, if i need too.

Like I said when I am done or actually when Paul is done with the drive shaft and IF it needs to be replaced it will get done I as said will not let a ride I am building go out if I don't think it is right or safe and I know monies is an issue right now. Remember it's my name on the truck and I am not going to get a bad name because of [anyone] trying to cut corners. If this means it takes alittle longer to get done so be it, I want it right the first time and if a u-joimt will save monies down the road so be that too.
