can i ask what your doing with the drive shaft?

the drive shaft has to be cut andshortened and then the ford rear yok put onand then balanced.

how much you shortening it?

It is going to be shortened about 2 to 3 inches depends on the new end we have to put on.

ok i'm lost 2 to 3 inches???? I've 4 linked about 4 mazda's in my life and have never had to do that. And everyone one of them had new u joints put on.

It's not the stock rear end 2lowtoy. They don't match up with his new rear end .

the rear end is out of a 1990 ford ranger so he can do a 5 lug instead of the 6 lug and he is doing a 5.L at some point as well. The new rear end is shorter from backing plate to backing plate but is longer from yok to back of pumpkin than the mazda rearend.

I won't have any pics till the kids are back in school have been dealing with some things and with mikey's nssan so he can drive it through the winter when I work on his mazda. We made a deal that I get the nissan for the labour and part of the 4 link when I do the air ride in his mazda. But when the pics are up you will like what you see and I have to get more grinding disk I am going throughthem like crazy on madmazda's truck.
