my 83 b2000 project

got the engine completely assembled only i can't use this intake. it is different for some reason, so i have to get my original one cleaned up and painted and installed. i also need to pull the pulleys back off later to paint but i am running out of time so i had to go ahead and slap it together for now. got the valves wired up, train horn mounted and wired, driveshaft painted and installed, and we are installing the engine tomorrow. or actually today seeing as how it is 3 am. shit i need to get to bed, have to wake up at 630 for work. here are some pics

thanks. i can't wait. i got the engine in tonight. a good friend of mine came over with his cherry picker and we got her in. when i get it all done under the hood i will take a pic. texmex is coming soon. oh, and i got the gauges today man. thanks. i didn't know you were sending 3. really appreciate it man. now i am going to make a little pod for them and mount them on the floor under the dash. i can't wait to drag this biotch again

when is texmex??? and where exactly is it at? i have my mazda now so i can at least go and try to look cool... ill get the walmart hub cap spinners for my bling =o) maybe start rattle canning the body at least for now till i can find a non cancerous bed.... i still gotta get pics of it but yeah its not in toooo bad of shape... anyways sorry for thread jackin bro... hopin we can get together and get mine lookin half as good as yours although i dont wanna steal your light brother... mine'll be like bud light from a can while yours is on tap haha...

I wish you luck with that alternator. Mine blew up after about 6 months. Lol. And it only put out 42 amps, when ti was supposed to be doing 100. Hopefully yours works better than mine does.

t-rex - texmex is over in somerville, about an hour and half from austin, i don't know how far from san antonio though. it is the last weekend of this month. weren't you moving to austin or something?

twisted - thanks man. who did you buy yours from? i got mine off a guy on ebay. it is a 105 amp 1 wire and hope like hell it doesn't blow up on me. i had it on before i pulled the engine and it was wayyy better than stock. what exactly happened to yours? thanks for the heads up too.

yeah i was gonna move up there but my moms heart has been gettin weaker cuz she had surgery and yeah so im gonna go spend time with her i dunno if ill move up there sooner or later but i more than likely will.. anyways cool i might have to hit it up ill do a mapquest to see how far it is from san antonio...

went from the firestone on the left to the slam re7s on the right. at about 160 psi it comes about 2" off the ground in the rear.



sanded it outside but it got too windy so i brought her in. i got the bare metal all etched last night.





got a lot more done, just haven't taken any pics of the other progress yet.
