Front shocks are on. Yes, I am aware the shock is upside down. They are made to work mounted in both directions. And they come with different sized bolt sleeves, so I wanted the larger bolt in the single shear application.

cool looking lower, but is that all the weld it's getting or are you going to gusset the tab to the tube? that could fatigueand crack in time, especially with a stiff shock. or is there already a gusset and i can't see it?

They way it is built is pretty stout. Its welded on the outside of the bend, and on the inside of the bend. Basically the lower plate is welded all the way around, and also on the top in the back.

I will be adding some little things tomorrow before painting it. I want to gusset the front of the mount and also the UCA plate.

Oh yeah, I added this gusset today as I was tearing it all apart to paint it. I took a picture because I thought the weld looked good. But now looking at the picture, the UCA mount looks like a Tiki with a big nose to me.
