I had them cut by Mindliss MetalFab.

And those are pivot joints, from Ballistic Fabrication. They are much nicer than the Suicide Doors ones. Better quality, more articulation, easier to rebuild.

how do they compare to johnny joints from currie? they're supposed to be pretty nice!

I can't personally compare them to Johnny Joints. But if its from Currie I bet its quality, as all their stuff is. But as far as I know most of them are a cast housing, with a threaded rod. I need these to weld straight to the link bar, so these were my choice.

currie sells both kinds.

I wasn't aware. I can't get Currie stuff at wholesale pricing though... I'd try it if I could.


Truck is mostly disassembled. I have tomorrow off, so after I replace my exhaust gasket and build a heat shield I will finish teardown, and cut the frame off.
