I removed the exhaust. It was pretty fuxored.

I trimmed up the tube on the collector and cleaned it off so I can weld to it.

It was "D" shaped, so I rounded it out with a hammer and my anvil.


Its not perfect, but I put it up against a spare piece of 2" tube and it fits well enough to weld.

And got a high flow cat.

Now I'm just waiting on the U-bends and the muffler.

He said it had no back pressure. I think it had too much. There were no holes until the cat. And right before the cat, its about 3/8" tall.

Cut the floor a little tonight.

And made new body mounts out back.



They are spaced down 2.50", and yes they are melting. The bushings will be replaced. The mounts just need a little finish work and they are good to go.


Marcus, my dimple dies are coming tomorrow. Hopefully the tube die comes with them. Lol.

2.50" will lay the rocker nicely, and the channel won't be that big in the cab. I am dropping the bed a little more and giving it some adjustment, because he said he might want to go "flat rocker" later, to the lowest body line in the cab. Which is about another inch. Then the bed will lay flat too.



Started the back half. Its tied in under the cab. Goal is not to see the transition.
