That helps a ton...wish i saw that lower befor i cut my frame so much... i see were you open it up to clear the frame also raised the lower ball joint. Im sure it gets real tight when its down but like you said at ride height it suits its purpose. Thanks, Craig

^ Sorry about that. Forgot I had it on the camera. One thing about the lower ball joint is it is actually up 3/4" and in 3/4". The upper control arm has a 3/4" spacer in addition to the normal shims. Also note the 1/2" spacer between the strut rod and the LCA. Helps to clear the centerlink when turning.

(bought rims without enough backspacing. Oh well)

That was with 100 psi and leaks I got 6" lift at the frame. Now where the hell do you mount the valves? All in one spot? 4 front 4 back i will do a search to try and find all this but if someone has a link that would be great. Thanks, Craig

Valves can be mounted where ever you want. Keep in mind your tank of air is your life line. Less leaks at the tank the better. With that said, the "up" valves usually are best in the back by the tank with a minimum amount of fittings (possible leaks). As for the "down" valves; by the tank makes wiring simple. By each tire makes for a nice show on a dusty road. And pointed up with cones on the exhaust side makes em LOUD

Well heading out in the morning to finish a few small things in the front...shocks and gussets for the plates....i hope to start on the back late in the day or sunday. Thanks for all the help so far and im sure ill need more by the end of the weekend.

well, everything looking good, for the back I say, 4 link it before u do the notch, use a u-bolt and temporary welt the u-bolt to the farme, make sure u center the axle really good, this will make things so much easier to 4 link the back, and like I say if u need some help I can drive out there and give u a hand if u want.

Exactly! Pinion Angle is key! If you use the U-Bolt trick you will be able to keep the stock pinion angle easier, then cut them off and your good!

Looks good so far, should be a nice setup!

Man the front shocks were kicking my azz but i got them ... im using small body bilsteins ...pretty stiff comp and rebond to help slow it down and make for a nice ride. Right now i have the front half of the leafs on..i cut the back off plus i measured from center of wheel to the back of the cab. I have the 4 links that i can adjust both sides so if im off a little i should be able to bring it in with the bars. My son is gone right now so im gonna tear the front all down finish welding and get it all ready for paint.

hey Rolo thanks for the offer you are more than welcome to swing out here and take a look if you want... i should be in the garage untill 6 or 7 drop me a pm and ill give ya directions ill see if i can find your # and give ya a call.
