Sounds good rolo...i want to get that tied in before i cut the factory cross brace out and cut the notchs in. Thanks again for the help, Craig

Heading out to start on the truck Rolo stopped by and gave me the loop for the cross member. I was going bag on bars but changed my mind...after looking over all my bars i dont think i went strong enough with them and not feeling very good about all the weight on those bars all the time. No biggy i will put on top of rear.Should have the 4 link and bag in by the afternoon.

Heres the loop done and clamped in for right now. Hopefully we can get everything tacked in, because were running out of gas in the welder and of course no one in town has any.

Looking good man, great progress. I have bags over the axle gets good lift and still rides good. Sucks that your running out of welding gas on this long weekend.

The rear is ready to go with the cross bar out. Getting ready to put in the notches, and hopefully we dont run outta gas.

Thanks, Lots of work left. I might have found some argon to finish welding up the back. The stores said they would have some mon but we'll see. I am still unsure of were and how im gonna mount the bags. They will be ontop of the housing just not sure how im gonna make the supports, I have a few ideas just need to mock it up to see how its gonna work. There is allot of work in doing a bag setup im glad my son is out there helping (gonna be his first ride) with it he is also understanding how everything works instead of just jumping in and driving away. I can tell ya if i had not found this site it would have taking atleast twice as long. I still have enough room in the notch to go bigger tires later if he wants and they are not clear up in the bed. I really want to do disk brake on the rear just not sure yet if i want to tackle that or get after the motor so it atleast drives. Thanks, Craig
