The Cobra 302 would be a cool choice if you can handle the wiring / computer. Another option would be just a plain old 302 crate motor with some choice accessories. Lets face it, you don't need a huge amount of power in these trucks to make them fly.

LOL Yeah I would be going with an older Cobra.... So basically a carbed 302 with all of the black cobra accessories.

Well.... I have lost money, time, and almost interest in this thing. Who wants it? $400 or best cash offer takes it and everything I have for it. Keep in mind it is NOT towable. You will need a flatbed trailer as I have No tires for this. I do have the 16" chevy wheels that will go with it. You get everything.. except my phantom grill. I am not letting that go again. The motor and tranny and rear end are out. It is basically a cab, a frame, with interior. I have the bed, tailgate, a few taillights..no chrome trim, fenders, stock front end, roll pan (not installed), front bags with brackets (pass side almost done), buckets out of an early 90's eclipse (= super comfy), and god knows what else I have laying around. Again you will need a flatbed trailer for this. The body is friggin Awesome on it. Has all chrome trim and a pretty clean interior. Anyways hit me up via PM, email (which is best) or call 417.540.4498. I can take more pictures and answer as many questions as you want. No I will not part out...it is all or nothing.
Oh yeah... I am located in Brandon, MS (near Jackson, MS) I-20 is about 2-3miles from my house so easy interstate access.
