looks good bro but what happens if you have a problem with your gas tank. You can not just drop it out you will have to take the box off and thats alot of work bro.

Mine is cut right above the fenderwell, So its straight then lower the sides with some jack stand or whatever and weld it back up, Make sure you tac weld a metal bar cross the bed to keep it square. We also made spacers for my bed..

I'm pretty sure its going to be finished way before the show! Not completely the whole truck, but the suspension work and all will be finished, I would say. If not, I'm doing something wrong, lol! Making it look good though, is gonna be a different story... You gonna be there?

If I have a problem with my senging unit, the bed is gonna come off! Not a thing for me! 6 bolts and thats really it, now. I used to pull the bed off before when it was in stock location to work on the tank... No biggie!

I'm hoping to get my plasma cutter by the time I'm ready to do the front. By then I should be doing the bed as well. So I won't have to worry about spending another $30 for cut off discs and sawzall blades!

I've got a problem though. No one except auto zone carries flex line for the brake line and its a 3 day wait and $40! I need one NOW! lol... ANYONE HAVE ONE I CAN GET FROM?

Well, I had to get to the steel yard for some steel tubing. Gonna cut out that notch x-member and replace it with this 1 1/2" round I got and put it at the rear of the notch instead... As well, gonna try and get the bag brackets welded in too!

We'll see! Might have pics at the end of today!

r you doin bag on bar or rear end? if i remember correctly your doin on bar.

whats wrong with a 3 day wait, your not ready to drive it yet are you? you still have the front, and other misc things like fuel lines, wiring, plumbing, painting, gauges, that'll take 3 days right there. it'll be ok.
lookin pretty good. v8 has a good point about being able to drop out the tank if necessary.
i have one question, maybe i missed something, but what is that crossmember hanging down in the rear for?
