I don't think you have to break in the drums, more the shoe lining if it's new

Sweet, man! Sounds like this oughtta be a good show! Can't wait!

Ahh, dangit, toddley.. Why ya gotta bear some bad news. I wonder if he can still get them ordered for me? LOL!

Ya, I did'nt bother to post pics, but I got the new drums in black paint and clearcoated. I got all new brake springs and hardware and new shoes. I read a long time ago that the drums and shoes had to be broken in a certain way. But I dunno, lol.

i will have a laptop with me ill ask him to check his messages if you want me to

take it out on the road that's somewhat empty doing 40ish mph and apply the brakes like normal to slow down to 20mph. repeat about 100-150 yards for 2-3 miles. too hard on the brakes or to soft causes the pad/shoe lining to glaze
hex0rz   +1y
Well I just need him to process the order, haha. lol, see what you can do though?

Sleepy, wtf? LOL! Normal? Haha, like doing 40 and coming to a 20mph zone cause of a school zone; "normal"?
sleepyspeed   +1y
yeah I guess that normal firm braking but not panic braking
hex0rz   +1y
Hehe, makes sense, now... How do I know your not BS'ing me?!
sleepyspeed   +1y
Why would I BS you? I'm not a mechanic right now but I have turned wrench for wal-mart truck fleet, school bus company that's local, one small shop were I learned to do paint and body also. And motorcycle tech school. Just not enough money in local mechanic jobs anymore

Had to get the suspense up, haha! No, I was j/k...
