Thanks man !!

Yeah it's gunna be a bit slow as the guy that does all my welding can only spare every third weekend as he works away 1 weekend then has 2 off, 1 of which he spends with his family and 1 he'll be here !! so yeah it's gunna be a while which sux but it will get there !!!

LOL... I'm not scared hehe, it will lay 20's or ill burn it !!! LOL LOL... it should only be another few weeks till I order my 20's anyway and my drop spindles are already on the way, so... Should be good !!

and no I wont be at mini madness or any other meet till the truck is done as going to them and seeing all the sweet ass trucks will just piss me off that mine not finished LOL!! And all my spare cash at the moment is going to the truck to get it there that little bit quicker...

I hope to have it all completely finished and ready for show by the end of the year and will start fresh next year going to as many shows as I can.. fingers crossed...

OK, it's been a while but things have been happening !!

since I last posted I decided to make it a long bed supercab !!!

So I picked up a complete single cab truck and cut both the frame from it and also my frame and swapped the rear ends over !! I also picked up a single cab 4x4 tub, which took me a shit load to find...

pic of it just after the stretch was finished...

I then mono leafed the rear just to see how it looks, long and low..

I also have my 20's and tires..

Bit of an update..

I've started cutting out the firewall to get it ready for tubbing. also modding it to relocate my booster across by 2" ... I've also ordered a custom booster, it's a 7" dual diaphram thats being stripped so that it can be restudded to match both the 4 mounting holes in the firewall/peddle box and also to match my standard master cylinder.. My peddle box of cause has to be modded as well !!..

I've also cut out a square section of the firewall where the wiring comes through on the drivers side and relocated it on the side of the foot well up under the dash so the wires will now run on the outside of the bay and around the front of the car instead of inside the bay...

I'll get some pix of the mods so far and will update with progress pix as there done..

Power steering box is also mounted in, finally !!..

I lifted it back up off the ground, put all the rims on and wheeled it out of the shed for a few pix.. Doesn't look to bad I reckon as a long bed with the 20's on...

I've also decided not to run the drop spindles as the look of crazy camber when laid out exites me !!

85 supercab   +1y

Thanks bud, Yeah there 6 lugs with a 45 offset and there only 7.5" inch wide !! much easier to tuck then the normal 8.5" ... I got them as blanks and had them custom machined and drilled to my liking..

wow...blanks? Thats kewl. I like your vent windows.....their different.
85 supercab   +1y
Yeah you guys didn't get the vent windows in this model hey ??

I've always hated them and couldn't wait to get rid of them !! I think they make the truck look older then it is... and being an 85 model it's old enough LOL ...
