hey thats a sweet looking weber there, what one did ya get? nice to see its coming along for ya. now get some free time and come down here and help me get rid of all my wires that i dont need and ill give ya rear window. lol....

I hear ya on this one - very true LOL

Now for my question, what is the line going from the Weber to just below the factory fuse box (on the inner fender, by the battery). Don't recall having that on either of my installs and was just curious. As for the vacuum leak (experience, LOL) the adaptor plates tend to leak unless you use a good gasket sealer. And it probably would not hurt to use a little thread lock on the counter sunk bolts holding the first plate to the intake. In my first install a couple of those bolts backed out enough to creat a vacuum leak (again, experience LOL).

welp time for questions... and maybe some answers!!! haha

ok i got it back to runnin. it was the bolts on the plate. backed out. got them in, sealed up the gaskets, fired it up and it purred like a kitten...

linn, mines a 32/36. the hose goin under the fuse box in the float vent. i was just gonna block it but my mechanic friend told me to run a long hose out away from it so it wont be easy for it to suck in dirt. it originally went to the charcoal canister.

aaron, just take off the passenger kick panel, pull out the computer, GRAB THE SCISSORS! hahahaha thats what i did! cut the wire at the EGR and the wire for the original elec choke, cut it at the choke, follow it back and run it under the intake mani.

i'm seriously amazed at how easy it was. it was my first one so i think that just made it difficult... plus wreckin the caprice and wantin it back on the road quick.

are you getting new speaker or new feet?
joking. those sierra rims look nice, you sould paint them black and then get the raised portion of each spoke machined, that way will look sic.
