Well, I had this going in the other thread in the off topic forum. So I figured that I would put this in the right thread.
I have an 87 b2200 that I bought a while back with the engine out of it and torn apart. Well, the engine was trashed so it has just been sitting.
I picked up this 88 b2200 that was already bagged...sort of. Manual valves, compressor not hooked up, notch ripping away from the frame, small bags up front, single big rig bag out back. The body is in ok shape aside from a few little dings and whatnot.
So I am making one good truck out of both of the trucks. The black truck has new carpet in it, decent seats, aftermarket steering wheel, complete dash, center plastic piece. So I stripped the interior out of the black one and have it staged to go into the white one this weekend. I am also swapping out the core supports and putting the good one out of the black one on the white one. We are going to put the 4x4 sheet metal on it this weekend as well. I also have some better bags to go up front. The notch will be repaired as well. I am going to run 2 of the big units from FBI and 2 5 gallon tanks. I will probably be sticking with the manual valves for right now until I can get back to work on monday and get my air lines and fittings to do it properly. We are going to build the frame off of the black truck and once it is done and painted, we will pull the body off of the white one and swap everything over to the other frame and paint the body while it is in the air.
Tough task but the majority will be done this weekend aside from the body swap and 4 link.
Anyways, here is the white truck...
Anyways, look for more pics later this weekend or monday night. Also, if you have any suggestions, let me know. Don't mind the rear setup. It will be ditched for a 4 link and either bag over axle or behind the axle.
