Well, it wasn't going to be on the road for much longer. One of the leaf springs broke on it getting it into the shop, the notch is splitting away from the frame and tearing it in half, the bag is pretty rotted, some hack wiring went on with it just to name a few. But anyways, it is getting a new lease on life. It is going to be fairly tame for right now. I have a whole nother frame to play with while we drive it like it is right now. So it shoudl get interesting on down the road.

But I have been at work since 7am and it is 11:30 and I have another hour to go till I can leave. So I am kinda seeing doubles right now...

Well, got the fuel tank out and pretty much have the 4 link figured out. Now just need to get the notch and the bags ready to go.

You know who you can thank for all that right?

I really don't know the history of the truck. It kinda surprises me that people would take the shortcuts that they did.

The worst part is the person behind that did a BUNCH of Mazda's in the area, and you can expect the same work on all of them. Be glad it isn't body dropped..... he did the first body drop I've ever seen with expanding foam as a key component.

You aren't serious are you? Expanding foam...now this I would love to see!

Sadly, I am serious. Apparently when you only tack in a body drop and you drive it down the road in the rain and you get wet, the solution is not welding all of it, but using expanding foam. One of the body drops he did I think broke while driving. Unless he did any lately without wising up, you probably wont get a chance to see it. Next time you see a body dropped Mazda around town, take a look! I think at one time he had a Toyota of his own at one time, may see one of those done that way too.
