Well, here is where I am at right now...

I got tired of working on it so we played with the bags a bit and then called it a day early.

Yeah, it is pretty wicked. But, I took some measurements and I am going to go ahead with the 2 big rig bags. I can get them through work and they will be super cheap. I already ordered the 4 link so hopefully that makes it this week and I can get it installed next weekend. I need to move the gas tank too.

The 4 link came in today. I am going to hopefully get that in this week and get the fuel tank moved while I have the bed off of the truck. I will be happy to get rid of that stupid monoleaf/bag deal that is going on back there. You can see where the springs have been wrapping up.

Also found a phantom grille and surround setup for it so that will be next week.

I think that I am going to go ahead and get a weber carb for the truck. The truck bucks and skips at low rpms but once it gets into the power band, it is all good.

Well, the 4 link showed up. They shorted me a tab for the upper links. But oh well, I can make the tabs for that fairly easily.

I have a pic of the link kit that I will add later.

So are your Z-71's Chrome??? In some pics they look chrome and some they dont?

The caps are chrome and the wheels are just really dull. I am going to polish them and then paint the inserts to match the truck.

I am sure that if you come out for Southeast Showdown, you will get to see it in person. It will be painted and rolling on the new suspension for Scrapin in the Smokies.

That truck has been around the block! I know of 3 previous owners and I hadn't seen it in a while. That truck was yellow for a few years, and in better shape. Honestly, for who did all the work the first time, I'm suprised its still on the road unless somebody redid a lot of stuff, but it doesn't look like anybody did. There were only a few sets of chrome Z's around here back then, and I haven't seen any lately.
