Hey, everybody! I bought my first truck, a Mazda b220 standard cab, in about november of 2007. I used to be into the Euro scene around my area, and Ive tweaked a few vws. But now its time for somethin different. A few of my buds are into minis, and Ive been knocking some ideas around with them for a bit. Finally, I decided to get a truck of my own, and see what I could make of it. A few friends chipped in, and we are renting some shop space, where we are hackin on my truck and my brother Robs 97 cavalier. My friend Jon and him have been a huge help in keeping this progect going, both hands-on, and helping figure everything out. Thanks guys!

Anyways, heres some pics... Shes still a work in progress!

Heres the frame. We jigged and built it at my work over the Christmas shutdown. Its mostly 3x4x1/4 tubing, seal welded, and drilled at intersections

The new engine (the entire driveline is from a 93 Lincoln mkVIII). It fits under the stock hood with only minor trimming, and the bottom of the oilpan sits about 3/4 inch higher than the bottom of the frame.

no room for a brake booster or master so they are stashed under the dash, operated by a cantilever system

We are using the factory wiring to run it. In retrospect, it would have been a lot easier to do a 5-0 carbie!

A shot of the sub box. It fits snugly behind the factory rear seat from the Lincoln, which Im using for my seat. You can see a bit of the work to the floor area under the seat to make room for the mufflers, and to hide the amps.

We are currently reworking the front and rear suspension stuff to get it to lift a little more. We plan to lay rocker over 20s, with the stock floor BD, and the stock bed bottom. The bed needs only 1/4 inch ground clearance when tilting.

Thats all for now, I will try to keep updates coming as much as I can

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Guys! Went to the shop, put in a few hrs on front suspension. We finally got it to cycle properly, and get enough lift to clear the wheels. I can turn my front wheels! While we were there, I grabbed some shots.

Heres the seat from the Lincoln. It had to be narrowed a little on the bottom so the doors could close.

A shot of the sheetmetal dash and steering column out of a Lumina van I wanted a column with a shifter and minimal switches, plus a wide variety of aftermarket steering wheels.

And heres a pic of the wheel lifted into the rear well (yeah, its flat, but you get tghe idea)
