Sleepy, how is the front end coming along? It's been like 5 days you know. That's a long time to go without update pics. ...lol -ED

I know I know I haven't touched it lately the wind hasn't let up. I can do the cold, but not the wind too.
I promise to get some more this week. This is my last week being laid off so I better get to it. Once I go back I will only have time here and there to do it.

so the right side is done I have to weld my lower bag plate in it's final spot tonight but I figured I would do that in the basement instead of the snow. The upper is pie cut, the oval hole that cracks out on these trucks is welded. So tomorrow I will throw the wire brush on the grinder clean all the flux off the welds and grind down some of them and the right will be done for good.

Check out this tonneau cover I got last night Not too easy to tell by the pic but it was flush with the bed this morning.

the snow is piling up being my truck is about 12 inches off the ground at the frame in the front

so I know exactly what I need remove, add, and where I want it for the left side. Maybe it won't take so long this time.

your bed is completely full of snow? holy shit thats alot of snow. ive never been in that much snow. i know it sux for you, but id love to be able to go out and play with my daughter in that much snow. oh yeah, the truck looks good too...lol the control arms look right on the money. as you said, the drivers side will fall right into place. the hard work is done, now all you gotta do is copy your work from one side to the other.

WOW...just for me....I feel special! I have to admit you work is much nicer than mine is. I will have to pull my bags back out and clean up a few loose ends. Looks great Sleepy. -ED

lol!... I will look even better once all that crap flux core blows all over is cleaned up. Didn't touch it today though, When I took my son to school it was snowing, by the time I got the sidewalk shoveled off and ready to get to it it started to rain and has done so all FRICKIN DAY

ugh!!!! so I put my lower on the right side and bolted the bag in and put the spindle on it and tried it out.
yep good old epic FAIL! I need to bring my upper a 1/4" closer to the frame to get the bag to compress right. I would just move the lower but it's out as far as it can go anymore and it might rub the bag on the ball joint.

So I might get this thing ready for mazdafest maybe

throw up some pics of the front with the bag in place and compressed. i ran out of room on the lower as well and i put a little block under the plate and slid it out between the little knotch in the balljoint. collapses perfect on top of it self and doesnt rub or come close to anything.
