yep the snow is on way out, at least for now.... but now when I go out I have to go mudding....lol
I started plating the frame Z, mounted the lower link tabs on the frame, and got the axle tabs on for the lowers. Going to try and mount the upper tabs on the axle this week. However still waiting to but the steel for the cross member, I may need to apply for a loan for the steel holy crap have you priced that stuff lately.

Check out egay for the steel. I had to pay almost as much in shipping for my x-member as the piece itself, but I saved 20 bones over the local steel supply. Keep the pics rolling in. -ED

yeah ED, I am looking around, I need to dig through what work carries to build the trailer frames with we might have something that will work, and it will be dirt cheap. My brother is the lead of the chassis shop and he said he couldn't find any, but I will look anyway.

hey man where are you gettin your steel from? ? ? Cuz its damn cheap here. . I'm gettin it from a steel distributor. . My 16 gauge sheet of sheet metal was 35 = tax. . and i was lookin at gettin a piece of 3" x 3/16" x 20' piece of plate and it was 27 or somethin. . VERY reasonable. .

Lookin good there Sleepy! Amazing the wide range of steel prices these days. Especially considering scrape prices for steel are in the toilet right now.

the steel supply place wants $56 for a 5' stick of 2x2 square tube that's 1/4 wall and a 5' stick of 1/4x 4" plate, kind of a rip off IMO, I haven't even priced sheet metal yet for the BD I don't think I want to know either
