well after working all day again today i got every single thing there is but the tail gate handle an key holes welded up. so i start layin some Z grip the next chance i get , but here is the pics of door handles shaved an mirrors and that stupid little cab vent that should be on the back of the cab

i kept hearing that this trucks are torshion bard trucks, well mine is an 84 it has coil springs and regular control arms, are all pre 86's this way?? And what kinda phantom grille can i buy an modify to fit my truck or do they make one for it, that i cant find

These trucks are coil springs correct, we still use the torsion style setup..... All you do is cut the spring cup off and run the torsion setup... I used the cups when I was running 16s and they barely layed, if I went any bigger and tryed to keep the original cups it would have been more work than to actually just do a torsion set up.......

This being said why me, maztang and others have asked for a pre 84 section so these questions will already be answered.

id like to have one to but i think i have kinda beend banned from this site or something, my highspeed internet will not load this page up it it says internet explorer is unable to load up this site, but every thing else works. well i use my same computer an use a dial up phone line connection thats slower than christmas an it works so im not sure but thats kinda what it seems like but my user name still signs in so idk

yeah we need that section lol, or atleast i do. but when you ran cups did you trim them down? on my s10 i had to trim both cups about an inch of so to lay real good an flat? but i may just run that torshion set up hell its not much diffrent i dont think. Did you Z your frame? im tryin to figure out if its worth it?

I have problems with it loading on IE too. I use firefox and it loads up a lot better.
From what I've been told it's MUCH easier to cut that huge pocket off and weld in torsion bar style bag mounts.
Here's a thread that has a LOT of helpful pictures thanks to all the other pre 86 guys.
